Johan Claassens has been the new Managing Director of MWM Benelux B.V. since April 1, 2026. Claassens’ goal is to strengthen the local presence of MWM in the Benelux region and ensure seamless collaboration between sales and service.<\/p>\n

Extensive Experience in Technology-Driven Markets<\/h2>\n

Johan Claassens has many years of experience in technology-driven B2B and B2G markets. “My career has always been positioned at the intersection of technology and commerce”, explains Johan. “I have worked within service-focused B2B and B2G environments, supporting customers with solutions critical to their core operations.” After several roles at Pon Holdings, Johan most recently served as Commercial Director and Program Director at Defenture, where he was responsible for international growth and organizational professionalization.<\/p>\n

Focus on Sustainable Energy Solutions<\/h2>\n

Johan views the rising energy demand around the globe and the need for sustainable and flexible energy solutions as an exciting challenge: “Being able to contribute innovative and future proof solutions for both existing and new customers is what excites me most.” In the market, Johan also sees a growing demand for flexible energy solutions and greater independence from traditional energy supply structures. “At the same time, alternative fuels, digitalization, higher system flexibility, and integrated solutions will have a great impact on the energy industry”, says Johan.<\/p>\n

Strengthening the Market Position in the Benelux Region<\/h2>\n

In his new role as Managing Director, Johan intends to further expand the regional presence of the MWM brand in the Benelux region and strengthen the collaboration with customers and partners. Some of the areas he places particular emphasis on are a close integration between sales and service, a high level of technical expertise, and long-term customer relationships. “Customers are looking for a strong, knowledgeable partner who can support them in ensuring energy availability and reducing operational costs”, says Johan.<\/p>\n
