The newly installed CCHP is operated with a <a title=\"TCG 2032\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mwm.net\/en\/gas-engines-gensets\/gas-engine-tcg-2032\/\">MWM TCG 2032 V16 gas engine<\/a> and generates 4 megawatts of thermal and 4 megawatts of electric power. From right to left: Peter Wesp (factory manager), Hans J\u00fcrgen P\u00fctsch (mayor of Rastatt) and Rolf Busch (project owner).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>An additional absorber system with 2 MW cooling capacity for the combined heat, cooling and power (CCHP) also ensures year-round use of the trigeneration plant for production processes.<\/p>\n<p>The mayor of Rastatt, Hans J\u00fcrgen P\u00fctsch praised the investment of around four million euro for the CCHP plant as a \u201csustainable energy strategy\u201d which will \u201calso benefit Rastatt and the region as a whole\u201d.
