KG has chosen highly efficient <a title=\"Gas Engines, Gas Generators &amp; Gensets\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mwm.net\/en\/gas-engines-gensets\/\">MWM V12 gas engines<\/a> for its <a title=\"Agricultural Biogas \" href=\"https:\/\/www.mwm.net\/en\/gas-applications\/agricultural-biogas\/\">biogas cogeneration plant<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Three German farmers and one software consultant founded the Kirchlinteln, Germany-based start-up company. Besides generating green power KBB&#8217;s cogeneration plant (CHP plant) provides a nearby nursery with heat. This smart business offers an additional revenue perspective for agricultural companies<\/p>\n<p>Serving as a key element of this concept, the applied <a title=\"TCG 2016\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mwm.net\/en\/gas-engines-gensets\/gas-engine-tcg-2016\/\">MWM gas engine TCG 2016 C<\/a> impressed the founders of KKB Biogas with an output of 600 kW and its high degree of efficiency of around 83 percent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"float: center;\" title=\"600 kW gas engine MWM TCG 2016 C in a biogas cogeneration plant in Kirchlinteln, Germany.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mwm.net\/files\/upload\/image\/8199_2_Biogas-BHKW-MWM.jpg\" alt=\"600 kW gas engine MWM TCG 2016 C in a biogas cogeneration plant in Kirchlinteln, Germany.\"> <em>600 kW gas engine MWM TCG 2016 C in a biogas cogeneration plant in Kirchlinteln, Germany.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The gas produced by the biogas plant is used both by a 190 kW <a title=\"Cogeneration &amp; Trigeneration Plants\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mwm.net\/en\/gas-expertise\/cogeneration-trigeneration-plants\/\">combined heat and power plant (CHP)<\/a>, as well as a 600 kW satellite cogeneration unit to produce 6,600 MWh of electricity annually.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very satisfied, everything went without any problems from the very beginning\u201d, said Gerd Clasen, Managing Director of KKB Biogas, commenting on the company\u2019s formula for success. \u201cA key reason is certainly that we have visited many plants in advance and carefully compared numerous offers. Ultimately, we decided to trust in proven components that convinced us with their performance.
