The MWM service tutorial<\/b> series “Durchdacht gemacht” (“Do it the smart way”) presents basic maintenance tips and instructions<\/b>. In the second episode of the video series, Alexander Klotz, Technical Trainer in the Training Center Service<\/b> in Mannheim demonstrates the procedure for adjusting the valve clearance<\/b> on an MWM TCG 3016<\/b> step by step.<\/p>\n

The valve clearance needs to be adjusted and maintained regularly in order to prevent early wear and tear of the engine, e.g. due to valve overheating, and to ensure smooth, clean operation. In the eight-minute video tutorial, the viewer is guided through the individual processes for the correct adjustment of the valve clearance. Additionally, important safety instructions are shown at the beginning of the video to prevent injury during the procedure and to protect the genset and avoid damage to the engine.<\/p>\n
