The 44th<\/sup> Federal Immission Control Ordinance (44th<\/sup> BImSchV) in Germany introduces new and stricter emission limits, shorter measurement intervals, a registration, and new obligations to furnish evidence for medium-sized plants with firing systems, gas turbines, and combustion engines. The ordinance has been in force since June 20, 2019 and applies to existing and new plants with a rated thermal input of 1 to 50 MW, which went live after December 21, 2018. To ensure compliance with these requirements, MWM offers plant operators a retrofit kit in the form of a compact complete solution with SCR catalysts<\/a>. SCR (selective catalytic reduction) technology enables the reliable reduction of NOx<\/sub> emissions. In addition to the retrofit kit for gas engines, MWM offers its customers the urea solution MWM Premium U 32.5 in order to ensure eco-friendly plant operation.<\/p>\n

Certified MWM Solution: Premium U 32.5 to Reduce NOx<\/sub> Emissions<\/h2>\n

In addition to MWM SCR catalyst retrofitting for gas engines, MWM can supply customers with MWM Premium U 32.5, a high purity grade, 32.5-per-cent urea solution for SCR exhaust gas treatment. In combined heat and power (CHP) plants and cogeneration power plants with SCR systems, urea solutions are used to reduce NOx<\/sub> emissions. The certified product, which is approved for use in MWM CHP plants and cogeneration power plants<\/a>, is in accordance with the ISO 22241-1 specification and is available in three sizes: 2 X 210 l, IBC with 1,000 l, and without packaging.<\/p>\n
