Requirements for CHP plants per Medium-Voltage Guideline

Like PV and wind power systems, CHP plants are decentralized producers of electrical power. To ensure that this power is fed efficiently into the grid, the “Medium-Voltage Guideline” prescribes new rules for 2013. Using biogas ... XXL-style

The TCG 2032 V16 biogas engine for cogeneration systems has been shown to operate successfully with landfill gas, wastewater treatment gas or biogas from sustainable raw materials for a total of 64,000 hours. This means that even relatively large cogeneration plants can be fueled with biogas. A shining example is offered by a plant in Ämmässuo, Finland. more ...
