By further expanding its successful collaboration with Kaltimex, MWM is stepping up its presence in Southeast Asia. On December 11, 2025, MWM officially appointed Kaltimex as its distributor for the Philippines. This strategic move underscores the confidence in the long-standing collaboration and the shared vision of rolling out even more distributed power plant projects for heat and power production in the region.
The signing ceremony, which took place in Manila, marks an important milestone in the collaboration between MWM and the Kaltimex Group. “We are delighted to be taking this step together with the Kaltimex Group, our long-standing distributor for Bangladesh and Indonesia, and to be promoting distributed energy generation in the Philippines”, said Rene Ludvik, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Electric Power Division, Caterpillar Inc. The agreement was formally concluded with TREES (Total Renewable and Energy Efficiency Solutions Co.), a wholly owned subsidiary of the parent company of Kaltimex Energy (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
The newly established Kaltimex team in Manila consists of experienced energy and sales experts and is supported by MWM. The team will deliver comprehensive solutions in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency in order to meet the growing demand for reliable heat and power supply in the Philippines.

For more than two decades, MWM and the Kaltimex Group have been successfully rolling out distributed power plant projects in Asia.
