MWM has rolled out projects of all sizes around the globe, installing small biogas gensets as well as power plants with an output of more than 50 MWel.

Avacon Natur GmbH, Germany
The power plant of the energy provider Avacon Natur GmbH in Lüneburg, Germany, is equipped with a cogeneration power plant, which is driven by an MWM TCG 2032B V16 gas engine.

Iberdrola, Spain
In March 2020, MWM Spain received an order for the operation and maintenance of 10 MWM TCG 2032 V16 gas engines in Spain. The gas gensets support the utility provider Iberdrola’s goal of eventually becoming carbon-neutral.

Shema Power, Lake Kivu, Rwanda
Lake Kivu in Rwanda provides ideal conditions for an unusual energy project. Using the methane from the lake, the 19 MWM TCG 2032B V16 gas engines of the newly built plant will be able to produce energy and supply the central African country with heat and power for around 50 years.

PGNiG TERMIKA Energetyka przemysłowa S.A., Poland
The CHP plant of the energy company PGNiG TERMIKA Energetyka Przemysłowa S.A. next to the “Pniów coal mine in Poland, which is being modernized with two TCG 2032 V16 gas engines, in the future will produce heat and power from methane.

WUN Bioenergie, Pellet plant Wunsiedel, Germany
The pellet plant’s control energy power plant, which runs with three MWM TCG 2032B V16 gas engines, is considered to be an outstanding example of eco-friendly, distributed energy generation.

Bausch + Lomb, Waterford, Ireland
With its cogeneration plant equipped with the powerful MWM TCG 2032 V12 genset, Bausch + Lomb covers 65 percent of its electricity needs and 91 percent of its heat needs and cuts annual operating costs by up to €1 Million.

Sredneuralsky Copper Smelter, Russia
The CHP plant in one of the largest copper smelters in Russia’s Ural Mountains is being run with five high-performance MWM TCG 2032 V16 gas engines and is considered an innovative pilot project.

Munich Airport, Germany
Two TCG 2032 V16 units were added to the existing MWM engines. Using trigeneration, 23.6 MW of electricity, 8.7 MW of heat, and 5.3 MW of cold are produced and used to supply buildings and hangars.

Delhi Land Finance (DLF), India
DLF had been looking for custom-tailored energy solutions for five different buildings. The answer was the use of coolant heat for the generation of heating water and the use of the exhaust gas heat in absorption refrigerators for cooling.

Ämmässuo Landfill, Finland
The 50-acre landfill in Ämmässuo, Finland, uses the landfill gas resulting from the fermentation of waste in four TCG 2032 V16 units. This is the first landfill gas plant with engines of the TCG 2032 series.
