MWM Wins Intermedia-Globe SILVER Award at 26^th WorldMediaFestivals

The video production submitted by MWM garnered an Intermedia-Globe SILVER award at the WorldMediaFestivals 2025. The award-winning video trailer focuses on the global service network of MWM and was submitted in the competition category “Marketing & Promotions”, subcategory “Teasers & Trailers”.

The video trailer combines authentic location shots, animated MWM services, and fascinating storytelling to a compact overall picture of the global service expertise and logistical excellence MWM offers for genuine MWM spare parts. In particular, the jury praised the impressive visual realization and the clear communicative orientation of the video.

Focus on Global Presence

The trailer of about one and a half minutes addresses an international specialist audience and provides a sneak peek of the more detailed main video, which will be released later this year. In compact form, the trailer gives an idea of the outstanding MWM service for gas engines and cogeneration power plants, which covers the entire product life cycle from the commissioning to the replacement of parts with genuine spare parts. The video features real authorized MWM channel partners and service employees from various countries, including Benelux, Turkey and the UK. The visual concept is augmented with animated text messages that convey key brand elements and services of MWM, such as availability, quality, and the high value of genuine spare parts.

Successful Interaction of Ideas and Film Production Skills

The video project was rolled out in cooperation with the event and film agency Motionplan. Frank Fuhrmann was responsible for the idea and the project management. “The greatest challenge in connection with this format was to duly handle the specific requirements of the very different locations and cultures, while telling a common story and creating a coherent atmosphere”, says Marcus Seip from Motionplan. In addition to the high level of professional expertise of the actors who appear in the video, human aspects were also portrayed, enabling the viewer to experience a personal connection.

Multiple Award-Winning Collaboration

MWM and Motionplan have been working together on video productions on a regular basis since 2009. In the past, the videos already won several awards in national and international competitions. This year, the long-standing collaboration once again yielded an impressive result. The “MWM Global Service” project demonstrates what the successful interaction of technical expertise, friendly cooperation on an equal footing, and open communication looks like. It is precisely these aspects that shape the character of the film and make it relatable.
